Month: April 2017

Talk at Portland Art Museum

Every third Wednesday of the month, the Photography Council hosts a Brown Bag Lunch Talk at the Portland Art Museum. I’m delighted to be doing the presentation this month on April 19, 2017, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The event is free to the public and is sponsored by the Portland Art Museum Photography Council with major support provided by Pro Photo Supply.

My talk and slideshow, entitled Candid Photography, will describe the development and evolution of my artistic vision and method for the candid photography of people in public spaces around the globe. Whether documenting routine activities or special celebrations, my photos provide a compelling glimpse of human emotions, interactions, and connections, and they open a window to the world that surrounds us here and now.
